Chrisy's most treasurable childhood memories are of Bethany Beach. She grew up in Hockessin, DE but from Memorial Day to Labor Day her family packed their bags, loaded up the cars and headed south. Bethany was considered their summertime home. Boating, fishing, beaching, sunning, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, boogie boarding, surfing, biking...so many wonderful memories. Life was better at the beach!
In 1986 Chrisy graduated from Ursuline Academy in Wilmington, DE. She then attended the University of Delaware where she earned her degree majoring in Elementary and Spec ED and minoring in psychology in 1990. Upon graduation she was thrilled to receive a job offer from the Indian River School District and accepted it with much excitement and pride. What an amazing opportunity to pursue her dreams and live at the beach full time! Many rewarding and unforgettable experiences were held in her classroom at East Millsboro Elementary. While teaching Chrisy applied to Wilmington College and was accepted into their Masters of Educational Counseling program. In 1993, she earned her degree and was delighted to share her expertise with her students. Relationships were made, bonds were formed and through trust, patience, mutual respect and perseverance Chrisy and her students learned a tremendous amount from each other.
After over a decade in the classroom Chrisy took some time off from teaching to stay at home full time and raise her children in Ocean View, DE. While at home she began to manage her family rental properties and loved it! It triggered a genuine interest and new passion for real estate within her. With her background in education and counseling Chrisy has established an affection for learning and creating relationships and bonds with her clients. They are treated as unique individuals and she takes great pride in finding each their own special fit. Chrisy values making dreams come true with the foundation for many fond memories to follow.
Chrisy just recently transferred her license to Keller Williams: Delaware Beach Area and is so excited to begin 2017 with her new brokerage!
